Acction-led
(AKA ACCLED) started in Lambeth in 2000 with started with one woman’s
drive to address the provisions for autistic children and young adults.
The reason behind her passion, having autistic son herself and was to
see that support and care opportunities are provided to the people with
learning disabilities and their families, she then gathered parents of
like manner together and started this project providing at the time just
a meeting ground for parents to share their experience.
As time went
on, we grew in numbers and started offering activities that is directed
to their physical and mental wellbeing.
In 2008 a need arose for a better functioning status and this has brought about the change of our name to ACCTION-LED.
Presently,
Acction-led has grown in numbers, activities and achievements, covering
five boroughs in London. Administrative procedures are carried out from
our Bromley office.

Acction-led dance Therapy as well as the Music therapy gives the learning disabled people the chance to express themselves effectively emotionally, socially, and intellectually this in time reflects in the behaviour and promotes learning, etc.
This cost us £567 per child over the period of 35 weeks.
Acction-led other programme design to promote living skills and independent skills, i.e
Arts therapy helps both the carer and cared to communicate effectively.
